Starrett-Lehigh

The Ultimate Creative Office Building

Starrett-Lehigh is among one of the best known hyphenates in Manhattan real estate.

It achieved landmark status in 1986, and has been a cherished home to New York’s creative community for decades. It is a legendary place for photographers, artists, start-ups, and out-of-the-box businesses to hang their shingle. The Starrett-Lehigh is the highly desired address for free-spirited, downtown-minded makers and doers.

And Partners replaced the hyphen in Starrett-Lehigh with the current brandmark. The brandmark can now be employed as a glyph that will variously stand for “and,” “plus,” “with,” or “equals.” With this, we created a system for the building to use in all advertising and content to come. And Partners created the advertising, brochures, e-blasts and postcards for both the office and the retail, as well as designed their leasing office space, including extensive window signage.
